Enshrouded Core Skill Tree (Survival) — 1.0
The center of the wheel, open to every class. Mobility (Double Jump), survivability, melee utilities, gathering tools — and the twelve ✦ Sparks, the free entry points every build starts from. Below: the planner focused on the core area, the key nodes with real costs from the game files, and what 1.0 changed.
19 skills in this area (7 actives) · 50 points to max every rank here · Last updated 2026-10-19 · game build 1267041 (release_1.0)
Not sure where to start? Load the opening points — Double Jump — the classic first buy, a connected starter path. From there, click any node that lights up (dimmed nodes stay locked until a path reaches them — same rule as in game).
How to use: ① click any pulsing ✦ Spark — it's the free entry point → ② only nodes wired to your lit skills can be learned — dimmed nodes are locked until a path reaches them, so follow the lines outward (right-click refunds a point) → ③ Copy build saves the whole thing in the link itself.
Start here: click any pulsing ✦ Spark — it's free. Drag to pan · scroll to zoom.

What's new for core in 1.0
New nodes on this area of the 1.0 tree: Airborne Architect — plus 1 officially moved node (Double Jump). Every before/after value is on the Core 1.0 change list.
1.0 also reset every skill tree on first load (all points refunded) — details and the free way to plan the re-spend are in our respec guide.
Where to start: the nearest ✦ Sparks
Sparks cost 0 points — they're the free doors into the tree. The three closest to the core area and what they connect to:
- ✦ Spark → Strength
- ✦ Spark → Strength, Mason
- ✦ Spark → Constitution, Merciless Attack
Computed from node positions in the 1.0 server files — distances to this area's centroid, so the list tracks the data, not our memory.
A simple core leveling route
Early (levels 1–10)
Your first point walk is always through a Spark. Double Jump (2 points) is the highest-quality-of-life early buy for any class.
Mid (levels 10–30)
Grab the utilities adjacent to your class's nearest Sparks — Power Parry and Merciless Attack for melee builds, Saviour for co-op. Don't overspend here while class nodes are still cheap.
Late (levels 30–50)
Leftover points fund the core: gathering specializations for the farming loop, Inner Fires for deep Shroud time, Opportunity/Snap for melee finishers.

FAQ
What is the core area of the Enshrouded skill tree?
The center of the wheel: 19 skills plus the twelve ✦ Sparks, covering mobility (Double Jump, moved here in 1.0), survivability (Inner Fires, Saviour, Well Rested), melee utilities every class can use (Merciless Attack, Power Parry, Opportunity), gathering tools (Miner, Lumberjack, Mason, Pickaxe/Felling Axe Specialization) and the new 1.0 Airborne Architect.
What are the Spark nodes?
The twelve ✦ Sparks are free entry points scattered around the center of the tree — they cost 0 points and connect outward into every class area. Every build, regardless of class, starts by walking from a Spark; the planner marks them with a pulsing ring so you can always find the nearest one.
Which core skills should every build take?
Double Jump for mobility (2 points) is the most common pick, Power Parry and Merciless Attack for any melee-adjacent build, and Saviour if you play co-op. Beyond that the core is where leftover points go — 212 points are available at the level cap but buying everything costs 675, so the core is usually partially skipped.
Did 1.0 change the core area?
Yes — the official changelog moved Double Jump into the core (it sits beside a Spark now), and Airborne Architect is new in 1.0. The tree was also fully reset on first load of 1.0, refunding all points for redistribution.
